U.S. stocks mixed amid deal-making, lower growth
U.S. stocks were mixed on Thursday, as investors weighed a downward
revision of third-quarter economic growth and disappointing earnings
news against news of more deal-making and hopes for the traditional

U.S. current account deficit widens to $226 billion
WASHINGTON
The U.S. current account deficit widened to a record $225.6 billion in
the third quarter, or 6.8% of gross domestic product, the Commerce
Department reported Monday.
