U.S. stocks close higher after jobs report

NEW YORK
U.S. stocks rose Friday, posting gains for a volatile trading week after
a report of limited jobs growth in February helped ease concerns about a
slowdown in the economy but raised fears that inflation might prevent
the Federal Reserve from cutting interest rates as early as expected.

Kmart introduces bevy of new beverages

Kmart will roll out 32 new products to line of private label beverages,
the discount retailer said Friday.

Economic Report: U.S. Feb. payrolls up 97,000; jobless rate falls to
4.5%

WASHINGTON
Hit by wintry weather in February, the U.S. economy created the fewest
jobs in two years, even as the unemployment rate fell to 4.5%, the Labor
Department reported Friday.
