U.S. stocks rise on economic optimism, cheaper oil; Intel rallies

NEW YORK
U.S. stocks closed higher Monday as concerns over slowing growth eased
after a Fed official said the economy was growing "forcefully," with
Intel Corp. a notable gainer after broker Citigroup upgraded the
semiconductor sector.
