U.S. stocks fall slightly as Best Buy misses

U.S. stocks were slightly lower Tuesday after broadly in-line housing
starts data failed to offset concerns about earnings after electronics
retailer Best Buy missed estimates and lowered its guidance.

Yahoo investors mixed on CEO change

Investors had a mixed reaction Tuesday morning to high-level executive
changes at Yahoo, with the stock first gaining then losing ground in
early trading.

Home Depot selling contractors-supply unit for $10 bln: report

Home Depot Inc. agreed to sell its contractor-supplies business to a
consortium of private equity companies for more than $10 billion, the
New York Times reported in its online edition on Tuesday.

Economic Report: U.S. housing starts fall in May to 1.47 million pace,
down 2.1%

WASHINGTON
Starts of new homes in the United States fell by 2.1% to a seasonally
adjusted annual pace of 1.47 million in May, as building permits for new
construction rose 3% to 1.50 million on a jump in multifamily dwellings,
the Commerce Department estimated Tuesday.
