Yahoo CEO Semel steps down, replaced by co-founder Yang

Embattled Yahoo Inc. Chief Executive Terry Semel is stepping down from
the top job at the Internet portal giant, where he is being replaced by
company co-founder Jerry Yang.

Market Snapshot: U.S. stocks end slightly lower as yields, oil rise

NEW YORK
U.S. stocks closed slightly lower Monday, declining to extend a rally of
late last week, after news that crude oil prices topped $69 a barrel
distracted investors from a report that BHP Billiton is planning a bid
for Alcoa Inc and other merger news.

Economic Report: Home builders' confidence falls to 16-year low

WASHINGTON
The outlook for U.S. home building is the worst in 16 years, the
National Association of Home Builders reported Monday. The builders'
housing market index fell by two points to 28 in June, the lowest since
February 1991.
