> OBAMA ARRIVES IN GULF FOR OIL DISASTER UPDATE
U.S. President Barack Obama says officials are "gathering up
facts" to ensure that BP pays fair compensation to those
suffering losses as a result of the Gulf oil disaster.

> 80,000 UZBEKS FLEE KYRGYZSTAN VIOLENCE
Thousands of Uzbeks continue to flee the ongoing ethnic violence
in Kyrgyzstan, which has claimed the lives of at least 114
people in the former Soviet republic.

> 10 MEXICO POLICE KILLED IN AMBUSH
Ten Mexican federal police were killed in an ambush on a convoy
Monday, the government said. An undisclosed number of criminals
also were killed, the government's Information Ministry said.

Flores Ramirez in the face before strangling her and then
