Morgan Stanley swings to a loss in the second quarter, in light of a
payback of TARP funds and losses asociated with Morgan's own debt
securities.
WELLS FARGO SHARES PRESSURED BY HIGHER CHARGE-OFFS
Shares of Wells Fargo & Co. were under pressure early
Wednesday after the bank reported second-quarter profit that topped
expectations but investors worried about deterioration in the
company's loan portfolio.

KEYCORP LOSS NARROWS, BUT CREDIT PROVISION RISES
KeyCorp's second-quarter loss narrowed on a
year-earlier charge as the regional bank again boosted its loan-loss
provisions and results missed expectations.
