Energy: Energy stocks dip, but hold on to recent gains

NEW YORK

Shares of oil and natural gas companies dipped Tuesday as oil prices
held close to $60 a barrel as Wall Street weighed the benefits of
reduced costs for oil drilling against carbon emission caps and auto
gas mileage standards.
