Bank of Japan expands collateral for loans

The Bank of Japan's policy board takes additional measures to help the
flagging economy, expanding collateral that can be used for loans but
warning that economic conditions will continue to deteriorate.

EARNINGS OUTLOOK: ALCOA SEEN KICKING OFF EARNINGS WITH BIG LOSS

Aluminum giant Alcoa Inc. on Tuesday will be the first Dow component
to deliver quarterly results this earnings season, with Wall Street
girding for another big loss as a precursor to what's expected to be a
tough slew of corporate reports.
