Gates Endorses Pause In Troop Drawdown
Defense Secretary Robert Gates has endorsed for the first time the idea
of pausing the drawdown of U.S. forces from Iraq this summer. His
endorsement came as twin bombings apparently aimed at Sunni tribal
leaders killed at least 14 people.
