U.S. stocks rise on Cisco's upbeat earnings

NEW YORK -- U.S. stocks were higher on Wednesday, sending the Dow Jones
Industrial Average to a new record high, as crude oil prices turned
lower while the technology sector received a boost from upbeat earnings
and forecasts from Cisco Systems Inc.
